Privacy
This is a static website. Conversion of HEIC and HEIF photos happens in your browser with WebAssembly. JPEG, PNG and the optional PDF are built on this device. The photo files you drop into the tool are not uploaded to a server by this application, and they are not stored by us.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, names, or email addresses.
- No photo contents, filenames, or EXIF from your drops.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking added by us beyond the AdSense script described below.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits — which pages are viewed, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. It is designed to work without cookies and without following you across other websites, and it does not receive the photos you drop or anything about them. It tells us that the converter page was loaded, not what was converted.
What any web host may still see
When you load the pages, your browser requests HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the decoder bundle. The organisation that hosts those files can keep ordinary access logs: IP address, time, URL, user agent. That is true of almost every website. Those logs are not the same as receiving a copy of your photos.
If you open this site over the internet, the decoder library is downloaded from the same host as the page. That is a program file, not your pictures.
Cookies and advertisements
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertisements. Conversion of your photos still happens in this browser; AdSense does not receive the files you drop. The notes below are the cookie disclosures Google asks publishers to make, written in the same terms we use elsewhere on this site.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this site or other sites. Google’s advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Ads Settings and/or aboutads.info. Google also explains how it uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps. See Google’s privacy policy for the network’s own wording.
Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland may see a consent message from Google Funding Choices (AdSense Privacy & messaging) before personalised ads are shown. That is a Google-certified consent tool; this site does not run a separate cookie-banner account. If the message has already been shown, you can change that choice here:
If Funding Choices is not yet published for this site, the button opens Ads Settings instead. Non-personalised ads may still appear where Google is allowed to show them without that consent.

Who operates this
The product is operated from the United Kingdom. This page describes the behaviour of the published static files. If the hosting arrangement changes, the access-log part above still applies to whoever serves the files.
If you contact us
Using the converter never requires personal information. If you choose to email through the contact page, you share your email address and whatever you write; it is used to answer you and kept no longer than the correspondence needs. Please do not attach photos to an email — describe the problem instead.
